If you're interested to work with BlokTec, please start by applying here. We are initially seeking tutors based in Lewisham or Bromley. A keen interest in Lego, robotics, programming and supporting learners, primarily age 6 to 16, is key!
All roles part-time up to 20 hours per week, during school term time. Hours will be flexible and dependent upon class requirements. There may also be weekend and holiday work and one-off classes.
Lead Tutors: Would ideally suit retired teachers with a background in any of science / engineering / programming. Alternatively an experienced engineer with some teaching experience - software or mechanical engineering.
Assistant Tutors: Would ideally suit university / graduate level or parent looking to develop experience in teaching and robotics and / or supporting learners.
Class Volunteers: Would ideally suit anyone looking to gain experience in robotics and / or teaching. Class administration and support children and teachers during class sessions.
BlokTec courses are not just informative, but also fun. A creative mind-set and broad background / wide-ranging experience are very beneficial to the development and delivery of our courses.

We are offering a limited number of annual micro-investment opportunities, circa £400 to £1000. This will support our robotics investments and assist with cash-flow. We are offering circa 3% return with capital and interest returned at the end of the year and the opportunity to re-invest.
