 Dave has a passion for STEAM education, believes in empowering young people to develop their full potential and offers a unique set of skills & experience to realize this:

Dave has a B.Sc. in computer science & well over 20 years I.T. experience - working in commercial, technical & regulatory sectors. He has worked in NZ, UK, Belgium & Switzerland. His broad-ranging I.T. and management experience has benefited numerous companies.

Dave also has a keen interest in film-making & story development. He studied script development and submitted his first short film to the 2006 Cannes Film Festival, which he also attended. He is also Head of Trustees for Newstead Road Pre-School.

Having lead 'live' Lego robotics after-school classes for 2 years and in response to a clear need during the Covid situation, he established BlokTec in November 2020 to make these classes more accessible in an increasingly 'online' world.
