BlokTec is a new 'start-up' based in Lewisham and Bromley and is all about teaching S.T.E.A.M.* skills to children & adults alike.
BlokTec use "real-world", programmable, Lego-compatible robots to establish and reinforce engineering, technical & programming skills as we explore our world through stimulating themes & stories.
* [S]cience, [T]echnology, [E]ngineering, [A]rts, [M]aths.
A wholistic & hands-on approach - BlokTec Courses utilise themes, story telling, science, systems, engineering principles, game theory and 'real-world' Lego-compatible robots . All are welcomed, supported & encouraged to explore their world through robotics & coding, keeping things simple yet motivating, based upon fun and a solid foundation. We take learning and exploration beyond the class setting by providing an affordable, Lego compatible robot to every student.
We also strive to develop stronger "social connection" online through participation, discussion & shared challenges.
BlokTec teaching methods utilise a broad range of subject material combined with repetition to develop coding & technical knowledge, offering a more wholistic approach.
